p-magon photography

p-magon photographies tell stories - in an artfull, aesthetic, intense style. Based on real, authentic photography, we strive to develop a very own style of imaging by applying extensive digital post-processing to the original shots. Therefore, we are interested in original photography that emphasizes these elements:

  • Expression: our images often tell stories, show special, never-to-come-back moments. They are intense, focused, sometimes unsettling, yet always aesthetic and composed. Blurs, low light, dynamic distortion and other shortcomings are welcome, provided they emphasize the intent. Pre-arranged or posed photography is not in our interest.
  • Authenticity: we want to show what we see, recognizability of a motif is key to story-telling. Pure abstract aesthetics do not work for us.
  • Colour: we often reduce colour intensity to an almost monochrome reproduction, but never to mere B/W. Colour highlights and composition often enhance impact.
  • Graphics: Composition is crucial, breaks create tension.

For clarification: all p-magon images are authentic reproductions of reality, in no case will p-magon use AI-generated content. Original images are digitally reworked by p-magon using Lightroom, thus an AI-supported tool, strictly limited to image data contained in the original photography, no AI-generated content being added.

We believe p-magon photography works best printed on fine paper or on alu dibond beyond acrylic glass in larger formats. We offer and produce 90x60, 120x80, 180x120 cm.

All p-magon images come with a two-words Title and a Text to describe circumstances of the original photograph beeing taken, some background information on shown content and eventually further thoughts on what might be seen in the image.
